The debut full-length album by Seattle’s experimental noise rock outfit. 11 tracks of precisely calculated pandemonium. The predecessor of two EP’s and two singles Winners has pushed Health Problems into a new tier of Maximalism. It is the bleak and nauseating portrait of the American mundane lyrically and sonically. It is prescription drugs and Sunday hangovers. It is white sugar and beer. It is furious and destructive whilst remaining inhumanely accurate. Tragically sarcastic in the ways of Flipper and the Jesus Lizard but with a matured depravity akin to The Birthday Party yet remaining absolutely individual.
Photography by Nicole Campanale, layout by Health Problems. Recorded, Mixed, and Mastered by Jack Shirley at the Atomic Garden in Paolo Alto, CA on an Otari MTR 90 MkII Summer 2014. All songs were recorded on the first take with the exception of track four. Originally released by Virgin Spring Records and now happily distributed through Good Person Recordings.
